The Tuna Salami (Ficazza) is a real salami. Tuna Ficazza is a typical Sicilian product of the province of Trapani. The tuna meat is minced and after being salted and peppered they are stuffed into a casing which is then placed on a pressed wooden board for about 20 days. The Tuna Salami is then dried in the sun and in ventilated environments for about 40 days before being put on the market in its "fresh" version. The product that is proposed is a Tuna Salami seasoned for 24 months, a very large Ficazza very difficult to find in any deli. It has a dark color with a very intense flavor and aroma

Pairings: Tuna Salami is a product with a very intense taste, in Sicily it is used as an appetizer or aperitif, served sliced with a little oil and a drop of lemon
